Violinist Dr. Yevgeniy Dovgalyuk has performed throughout the USA and Europe, including Sweden, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Latvia, and Russia. Having completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at George Mason University, he holds his Doctor of Musical Arts in Violin Performance from the University of Maryland. He has performed alongside some of the world’s finest musicians, including Yo-Yo Ma, Joshua Bell, Ray Chen, Vilde Frang, Gidon Kremer, Anne Akiko Meyers, Christian Tetzlaff, Leonidas Kavakos, Winton Marsalis, Stevie Wonder, Andrea Bocelli, The Getty’s, Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, Martina McBride and many others.
Dr. Dovgalyuk has received many performance awards and has served as Concertmaster with various orchestras throughout his career. He is the Associate Professor of Violin at Liberty University, Concertmaster with the Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra, and a substitute violinist with the National Symphony Orchestra and the North Carolina Symphony. Dr. Dovgalyuk also serves as the president of the Liya Christian Ministry in memory of his sister Liya and is actively involved with the Liya Music Camps, where he serves as the Music Director.
Dr. Dovgalyuk, his wife, and two children reside in Forest, Va.
